Data we collect
- Account basics (parent email, learner first name or nickname) so we can personalize experiences and send important updates.
- Gameplay telemetry and quiz responses to power mastery tracking and tailored curriculum recommendations.
- Files you intentionally upload (ROM metadata) solely to determine compatibility and associate progress with a game.
How we use it
- Authenticate caregivers, manage subscriptions, and send operational emails (password resets, billing notices).
- Generate adaptive practice sequences and surface progress dashboards.
- Improve reliability and detect abuse through aggregated, anonymized analytics.
What we never do
- Sell personal data or share learner details with advertisers.
- Allow unmoderated public profiles or social features inside Rommy Games.
- Store payment information on our servers—Stripe handles every transaction.
Security & retention
- All traffic uses HTTPS/TLS. Firestore security rules restrict reads to the owning user.
- Card data is collected and processed by Stripe checkout flows; Rommy Games does not store full card numbers.
- Sensitive settings (like billing bypass flags) are limited to privileged service accounts.
- You can request account deletion anytime at support@rommygames.com. Backups roll off within 30 days.
